Q.

What is Robby Gene?

A.

Robby Gene is a website for women over 40 who still give a damn! Women who still want to be stylish, care about the food they eat and the products they use on their body.

Q.

Why Now?

A.

I’ve been talking about starting a website for a couple of years, but the timing never seemed right. My priorities up to this point have been my kids. But since they are growing up and don’t need me like they once did, the timing seems to be perfect.

Q.

Why did I start Robby Gene?

A.

I started Robby Gene for several reasons. One is that the internet is flooded with younger bloggers/websites, but there isn’t a site that geared towards the modern women over 40. My hope is that Robby Gene can fill that void.

I wanted to create a destination where women could see a variety of information that is both relevant and entertaining. A site where they don’t have to go to scroll through 50 slides to see something that interests them.

I want to empower women to be the best possible versions of themselves. I hope I can help them find their style, encourage them to read a book that changes their life, eat a healthier and cleaner diet, or to inspire them to do great things.

Q.

Who is Robby Gene?

A.

Robby Gene was named after my dad Robert Eugene. He was the most amazing father. He was a friend, a huge supporter and the best mentor a girl could have asked for. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with lung cancer in 2009.

Q.

Who is Bobbi?

A.

I am 46 years old, I have been married to my husband for 22 years, and we have two children, our daughter is nearly 20, and our son is 17. We also have three black lab’s who complete our family. I’ve lived in the same beautiful town west of Minneapolis my entire life and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I hope to adopt several senior dogs soon, so they have somewhere loving to live out the rest of their years.
